Details

GLORIA is a decorative table lamp designed to create a soft and diffused light perfect for a relaxing lighting scenario that will make your home fascinating.

Its design is developed to maximize the translucency properties of the PLA it is made of, accentuated by the wavy lines of the lampshade that seem like fabric.

Made entirely in 3D printing, its real peculiarity lies in the lampshade which, thanks to its design, reveals a surprising textile effect when turned on. The specially modeled folds create the illusion of a soft and enveloping fabric, giving the room a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This careful workmanship makes the lamp a sophisticated decorative piece, which integrates perfectly into elegant and modern environments.

The lines of the lamp acquire greater aesthetic "tension" thanks to the colored rope drawstring that seems to tighten the lampshade, accentuating the fabric effect of the surface.

The light source is entrusted to a LED bulb with an e14 socket positioned in the lamp body, accessible by unscrewing the 4 small screws that are located in the base of the lamp.

NOTES:

This table lamp is made with 3D printing techniques that use PLA filaments, a bioplastic material derived from corn.
PLA is biodegradable and compostable through specific processes.

In the finished piece, some typical elements of the 3D printing production process are visible, which are to be considered in all respects as peculiar characteristics of the printing process, such as the vertical line that runs along the entire back of the object called “seam ” which represents the point at which the printer changes printing layer to the next.

Observing the lamp closely, the individual printing levels are visible even to the naked eye.
Other small imperfections are part of the history of the product and its production technology which makes the product semi-artisanal.

The 3D printing process requires almost 12 hours of work to create all the components of the lamp. PLA (polylactic acid) is a bioplastic derived from renewable sources, such as corn starch and sugar cane, which offers a valid alternative to traditional plastic derived from petroleum.
This material is compostable in industrial conditions, biodegradable and has a low environmental impact, aligning with a design philosophy that looks to the future in a responsible way.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTES:
Use only LED light bulbs.
High temperatures generated by old traditional incandescent light bulbs (not LED) could cause serious damage to the bioplastic used to make this product.

Frequently Asked Questions

Manutenzione

It is important to use only LED bulbs.
The bio-plastic material used to make the lamps (PLA) is negatively affected by other temperatures. It is therefore mandatory to use only LED bulbs to avoid raising the operating temperature of the lamp too much.
